HarperIman is committed to making dolls of color that represent the type of dolls that the mother and daughter co-founders, Cynthia and Kathryn, wished they had growing up.

“We are dedicated to creating dolls that reinforce to children of color how important they are, how smart they are, how beautiful they are, how talented they are, how creative they are, and dolls that provide positive affirmations of themselves that they can identify with every day, hour, and minute,” reads a statement on the website.

The Fresh Dolls

Founder Dr. Lisa created The Fresh Dolls to shift the standards of beauty that have been defined by society and negatively impact our youth. The dolls have custom blended skin tones, authentic facial sculptures, hairstyles typically worn by little girls, and more realistic body types. Everything is done intentionally to show the beauty in multicultural children.

Worldgirls

Sisters and co-founders Laken King and Carlissa King are on a mission to change the world with their line of empowering dolls, the Worldgirls. Each Worldgirl is assigned 1 of 5 traits: WARRIOR, HEALER, EXPLORER, REBEL, and SCHOLAR. They created the traits so that children could connect with the dolls' unique passions rather than their looks.
