There is something innately adorable about all baby shoes, but Sun & Lace shoes are next level. Gorgeous in both their craft and design, these handmade boots, oxfords, mocks, and Mary Janes are simply irresistible.

Founder and Maker Briana started Sun & Lace around five years ago. It all began after many failed attempts at finding cute, quality boy shoes at big-name brand stores. Taking matters into her own hands, Briana decided to craft some of her own. Friends were in awe of her creations and encouraged her to open her own shop, offering high-quality and artfully designed children’s shoes.

“I strive to create quality shoes that can be passed down from brother to sister and from sister to brother,” says Briana. “When it comes to my brand, I strive to make sure parents and grandparents can come to my shop and speak to an actual person (me), and get advice from someone who's been in their shoes (also me!)”

With three kids of her own, Briana has designed and tested each design on her children to make sure they are durable and that parents can have confidence in investing in her product. And not only are her children the test models for many of her designs, they are also her greatest muses.

The design for one of my most popular styles, my Bella Janes, came to me in a dream while I was pregnant with my daughter. I love putting them on her!” Briana reflects.

While 2020 has been a difficult year for many small businesses, Sun & Lace continues to grow and diversify their designs and styles. In the next couple of months, Briana will be releasing another print as well as a capsule collection.
